The GRE – Graduate Record Examination- is administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is primarily a multiple-choice test used by graduate and business schools for admission of students into their graduate and doctoral programs. GRE offers a General Test as well as Subject Tests.
The General Test measures abilities in verbal, quantitative and analytical fields which are needed for graduate or business school. It is offered round the year and can be taken once every 21 days, up tofive times within a continuous rolling 12-month period.
